Brooke joined Hughes Associates A&E in 2016 and is one of our most experienced architects in residential markets including market-rate housing, affordable housing, historic renovation, multi-building apartment complexes, and municipal re-development and housing authority projects.

Brooke enjoys delving into ever-changing market trends, new innovations in building science technology, and understanding the larger context of her projects. She is a skilled team communicator and is strategically cost conscious. She frequently works with Virginia Housing, Universal Design and UFAS, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and aids with zoning.

Brooke is originally from Colorado. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan and earned a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
