LewisGale Medical Center Infusion Unit at Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute

Located in the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Lewis Gale Medical Center, the 21-bay Infusion Center is complete with heated massage chairs, snacks, TVs, warm blankets, and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Patients can spend up to five hours in treatment, making the top priority for this project patient comfort, and the flexibility for socializing or privacy.

The project includes new lighting, finishes, modern furniture, ceramic tile workstations, and translucent glass bay dividers. Spaces include a waiting room with abundant natural light, nurse stations, administration offices, pharmacist office, medical records, nutrition area, laundry and linen, and a breakroom.
