Bank of Botetourt – Vinton

Hughes Associates A&E has been working alongside Bank of Botetourt on projects to include extensive renovations and new construction as part of an on-going relationship since 2014.

The newest addition to the Bank of Botetourt family is their new branch on Pollard Street in Vinton. The branch is a one-story, 2,700 square feet building that includes drive-thru ATM capabilities and houses the bank’s mortgage company, Virginia Mountain Mortgage. There’s an interior ATM, night deposit station, spacious waiting/seating area, offices, and a conference room. The bank is flooded with natural light by way of the large windows and high ceiling in the entrance vestibule, clerestory windows above the front desk, and through a large, curved wall that spans the length of the building.

This project was unique in that the site was restricted and located on the corner of two main roads, one access drive, and a parking lot. Together with our consultants and G&H Contracting, the bank was completed on-time and under budget.
