Master Plan and New Construction
2008 and Ongoing

Teaming up with a local general contractor, Hughes Associates A&E used the owner’s conceptual sketch as a basis for construction documents for a new 27,000 square foot church on a vacant site. The church’s first project is a multifunctional classroom and recreational/worship center. Contemporary worship is conducted in the gym area with moveable platforms and folding chairs allowing the same space to have multiple uses. Two levels of classrooms were constructed as shell space and later finished out as needed for ministry growth.

Our latest project is a new 2 story, 10,000 SF ministry building. Having outgrown their children and youth spaces, they were in need of both small and large group meeting spaces as well as additional administrative offices. The Ministry Building includes 3 large group worship and recreation spaces, 3 small group classrooms, offices, and support spaces. The priority in design was flexibility so the building can serve children, youth, or adults as the space needs for these groups fluctuate over time. FCC envisions allowing use of the building’s large group spaces as an incubator in which other church congregations can grow.
